Visa Work That Runs Alongside the Business — Not Behind It

UAE visa and immigration covers the 10-year Golden Visa for investors, specialists and exceptional talent, the 5-year Green Visa for freelancers and skilled workers, plus investor, employee and family sponsorship routes and Emirates ID. Avyanco runs the entry permit, medical, biometrics and residence stamp sequence end-to-end, usually within 7 to 21 working days.

UAE residence visas are no longer a one-track product. The 2022 reforms introduced multi-year structures — the 10-year Golden Visa for investors, specialists and exceptional talent, the 5-year Green Visa for freelancers and skilled workers — alongside the established investor and employer-sponsored employee routes. The right route depends on the founder's profile, the entity that sponsors them and what they expect from family sponsorship and travel.

Avyanco runs visa work as a managed PRO engagement coordinated with the company formation. Entry permit, medical, biometrics, Emirates ID and the residence stamp are tracked as a single sequence — usually completing within 7 to 21 working days from entry. Family sponsorship, dependent visas and renewals are folded into the same engagement, so the founder's residency status stays aligned with the business.

The Avyanco Advantage

Visa work is where most UAE setups stall. Avyanco's PRO practice fixes the bottleneck.

Route Scoping First

Golden, Green, investor, employee or freelancer — the right route depends on profile, sponsor and family situation. We confirm that before opening the application.

Coordinated with Setup

Investor visa runs alongside the licence so the founder is residency-ready on day one — Emirates ID, banking, and family sponsorship lined up behind it.

Documentation Built Right

Education certificate attestation, salary certificates, sponsorship NOCs and family documents prepared to GDRFA and ICP standards.

Golden Visa Positioning

Investor, specialist, exceptional talent and pioneer route eligibility scoped, supported and applied — with the right evidence pack.

Family Sponsorship

Spouse, child and parent sponsorship integrated with the founder's visa — single coordinated engagement, no separate counter visits.

Renewal and Continuity

Renewals, status changes, dependant additions and Emirates ID updates managed on an ongoing PRO retainer.

UAE Visa & Immigration — Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about UAE residence visas and immigration.

What is the UAE Golden Visa?
The Golden Visa is a 10-year renewable UAE residence visa introduced in 2019 and expanded under the 2022 reforms. It is available to qualifying investors, real estate investors, entrepreneurs, exceptional talents, scientists, specialists in priority sectors (medical, engineering, science, IT, business administration), pioneers of humanitarian work, frontline heroes and outstanding students. Each route has its own qualifying criteria — Avyanco scopes eligibility against the founder's specific profile.
What is the UAE Green Visa?
The Green Visa is a 5-year UAE residence visa introduced in 2022. It is available to skilled employees in occupational categories 1-3 with a minimum bachelor's degree and a salary of at least AED 15,000, to freelancers and self-employed individuals with relevant qualifications, and to investors and partners in commercial activities. Unlike the standard employer-sponsored visa, the Green Visa does not require an employer sponsor.
How long does a UAE residence visa take to issue?
The standard sequence — entry permit, medical, biometrics, Emirates ID and residence visa stamp — typically completes in 7 to 21 working days from the founder's entry to the UAE. Golden Visa applications can take longer depending on the qualifying route and the evidence pack. Avyanco manages the sequence on the founder's behalf.
Can I sponsor my family on a UAE residence visa?
Yes. Holders of UAE residence visas can sponsor their spouse, children (with age and dependency conditions) and parents (subject to medical insurance and minimum-salary conditions). Family sponsorship runs as an extension of the founder's own visa engagement — same documents, same PRO, single integrated sequence.
What is Emirates ID and is it the same as the residence visa?
Emirates ID is the UAE national identity card issued by ICP. It is required for all UAE residents and is linked to but distinct from the residence visa. The Emirates ID is issued during the visa sequence — after biometrics — and is used for everyday government and banking transactions. Both expire together and are renewed together.
What happens if my residence visa expires?
UAE residence visas typically carry a grace period after expiry (currently up to 6 months) during which the resident can renew without overstay penalties. Beyond the grace period, daily overstay fines apply and the resident's status becomes irregular. Avyanco's PRO retainer tracks renewals to avoid grace-period reliance.
